Welcome to the Counseling and Human Services Department Professional Development Series.
The Couseling and Human Services programs at Old Dominion University offer a number of continuing education opportunities for counseling, human development and other related mental health professionals. Included in the offerings are a series of eight full-day workshops held throughout the calendar year known as Big Splash workshops in counseling; institutes held in Italy and Ireland for 10 days to two weeks each summer; and many short courses that focus on cutting edge topics of interest to counseling, mental health, and human development professionals.
